TRAINING AND EDUCATION Opportunities
Safe Place staff has teamed up with law enforcement members of the Southeastern Unit of Special Investigations (SUSI) to bring prevention based information to all groups and all ages.
Presentations
Throughout each year, our team travels all over Windham County to places of employment, schools for all ages, groups where kids meet together, adults that provide service to kids and/or adults that may endure sexual or physical violence, and more.
Outreach & Training
Aside from our interviews, advocacy, and team approach for case work, we also provide outreach education and training within the community. We are thrilled to meet with providers that encounter children and/or adults that may benefit from the knowledge and skill set of our staff. We provide trauma-informed approach guidance, interview/conversation support, internet and body safety education, and more.
